Three Americans Named Midseason All Stars

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — David Harris (DH/Utility), Matthew Ganschow (Outfield), and

Dominick Zangardi (Outfield) of the Niagara Falls Americans were named 2026 Perfect Game

Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) West Division All-Stars on Friday afternoon.

Harris, a rising junior at Clarkson University and Essex, V.T. native, currently ranks fourth in the

PGCBL in batting average, hitting .449 average on the year. Spending time at all three outfield

positions, Harris leads the Americans with 31 hits. In 23 games this season, Harris has stolen 13

bases and boasts an impressive .547 on-base percentage and a .478 slugging percentage.


Ganschow, a rising sophomore at Niagara University, leads the Americans with 24 RBIs and

seven extra-base hits. He is currently fourth in the PGCBL West Division in RBIs. In 24 games,

the Clarence Center, NY native has recorded 23 hits, with a .354/.471/.508 slash line. He also has

made four appearances on the mound, striking out 13 batters in seven innings.

Zangardi, an incoming freshman at Niagara University, leads the team in at-bats this year.

Second on the team behind Ganschow in RBIs, Zangardi has driven in 16 runs this season. The

Shavertown, Pa. native has played in the most games for Americans, appearing in 26 contests.

His two home runs are tied for the team lead as well. While slashing an impressive

.364/.495/.519 at the plate, Zangardi has also pitched 7.1 innings, and only allowed one earned

run with five strikeouts.

The Americans will battle the Elmira Pioneers today in a seven-inning doubleheader, with first

pitch set for 2:05 p.m. at Dunn Field. Niagara Falls will return home to Sal Maglie Stadium on

Monday, July 13, to take on the Newark Pilots for Guaranteed Win Night. First pitch is

scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
