Poor Air Quality Cancels Thursday’s Americans–Tarp Skunks Game in Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Due to poor air quality from wildfire smoke, Thursday’s contest

between the Niagara Falls Americans and the Jamestown Tarp Skunks at Sal Maglie Stadium has

been canceled. A makeup date has not been announced.

The Americans will travel to George Taylor Field on Friday to face the Niagara Ironbacks, with

first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The Ironbacks hold a 5-3 advantage in the season series.

Niagara Falls will return home to Sal Maglie Stadium on Saturday, July 18, for Faith and Family

Night against the Auburn Doubledays, with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m. The season series

between the two clubs is tied 1-1.
