NIAGARA FALLS AMERICANS ANNOUNCE NEXT SIGNINGS FOR THE 2026 ROSTER & SAL MAGLIE STADIUM POLICIES

The Niagara Falls Americans are excited to announce their next signings & stadium policies for the 2026 season.  The Americans welcome Jackson Bower – OF (University in Lock Haven),  Justin Gladfelter -INF (Cañada College), David Harris -OF (Clarkson University),  Jackson Learner – RHP (Clarkson University), Thomas Marcotte – INF (Southern Maine Community College), Ryotaro Munakata – RHP (Genesee Community College),  Niagara Falls Native Anthony Savino – INF (Frostburg State University), Evan Shank -OF (Tompkins Cortland Community College),  Miguel Solcedo -INF (Alpena Community College), Loagan Stickler -(University of Northwestern Ohio),  Adam Weiss – INF (Herkimer County Community College).

Jackson Bower is a 5’11”, 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder from Hughesville, PA. A rising redshirt junior, Bower appeared in thirty games this past season at NCAA Division II Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, PA. He played all three outfield positions but spent most of the 2026 season in right field. A Hughesville High School graduate, Bower began his collegiate career at NCAA Division III Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA, before transferring to Lock Haven. Last summer, the right-handed throwing outfielder competed for the Conway Cadets of the Beach Collegiate Baseball League in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Justin Gladfelter is a 5’8”, 185-pound rising sophomore currently in the transfer portal. Gladfelter started 26 games in the 2026 campaign at Cañada College in Redwood City, CA. The Sunnyvale, CA native played both middle infield and center field this past season, showcasing his versatility. He posted a .360 batting average and a 470 on-base percentage. Gladfelter also finished the season second on the team in stolen bases (15) and third in hits (36) and runs scored (30). He is a 2025 graduate of Homestead High School.

A native of Essex, VT, David Harris will be joining the Americans after his sophomore season at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. The 6’2”, 190-pound left-handed hitting and throwing outfielder led the Golden Knights in RBIs with 22 this past season. He also finished second on the team in doubles, with seven. Harris played both corner outfield positions and started numerous games as the designated hitter as well. A graduate of Essex High School, Harris appeared in 29 contests in the 2026 season and played in 20 games in 2025, his freshman year.

Jackson Learner is a 6’1”, 180-pound right-handed pitcher from Stratham, NJ. A rising junior at Clarkson University, he appeared in two games this past season and struck out one batter. Learner is a sidearm slinger that features a sinker, slider, and cutter on the mound. He is a 2024 graduate of Berwick Academy.

Thomas Marcotte is a 5’9”, 180-pound rising junior infielder from New Bedford, MA. In the 2026 campaign, Marcotte appeared in 30 games for the Southern Maine Community College Seawolves, a member of the Yankee Small College Conference. The right-hander led the team in RBIs (38) and walks (33), while also posting a .329 batting average. At the hot corner, Marcotte committed only three errors and recorded an impressive .981 fielding percentage. During his freshman season, the Fairhaven High School graduate began his collegiate career with four consecutive multi-hit games.

Ryotaro Munakata is set to join the Niagara Falls Americans for the 2026 summer season. He currently competes for Genesee Community College Cougars in Batavia, NY. The Cougars play at the NJCAA Division III level in the Western New York Athletic Conference. Munakata is looking to contribute to the Americans, who are aiming for another successful season in the West Division of the PGCBL.

Anthony Savino is a Niagara Falls native and current rising sophomore middle infielder at Frostburg State University. Savino played in 12 games this past season, starting in four. He totaled four hits in 17 at-bats and scored five runs for the NCAA Division II Bobcats. Savino also recorded his first career multi-hit game on March 31 at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. At Niagara Falls High School, he was the salutatorian of his class and played both baseball and golf. During his time representing the Wolverines on the diamond, Savino earned First-Team All-Western New York and Niagara Frontier League All-League First Team honors.

Evan Shank is a 5’10”, 185-pound rising junior from Cortland, NY. A 2024 graduate of Cortland High School, Shank just completed his sophomore season at Tompkins Cortland Community College in Dryden, NY. He played in 37 games this past season, serving as a super utility player, by spending time at both corner outfield positions as well as second and third base. Hitting cleanup for most of the season, Shank batted .298 and recorded a .446 on-base percentage. The right-hander tallied 28 hits and 21 RBI in 2026 for the Panthers.

A native of Santo Domingo, DR, Miguel Solcedo is a 5’10”, 195-pound right-handed infielder. A rising sophomore at Alpena Community College, he played in 45 games in the 2026 campaign. Solcedo finished with a team-high .443 on-base percentage and finished second on the team in RBIs (35), home runs (6), and walks (28). The Kipling Collegiate Institute graduate played for the Leaside Leafs in the Elite Baseball League of Ontario last summer.

Returning for his second straight season representing the Americans, Loagan Stickler is coming off his freshman campaign at the University of Northwestern Ohio. The Lawrenceville, PA native tallied two hits in six games this past season, one of which was a grand slam. Last summer, Stickler played in 17 games for the Americans, totaling 11 hits and seven runs scored. Coming out of high school, the right-hander was ranked as the number nine third baseman in the state of Pennsylvania.

Adam Weiss is a 6’1”, 190-pound rising sophomore from Saratoga Springs, NY. The right-handed infielder led Herkimer County Community College in hits (49) and doubles (9) this past season. He also finished second on the team in RBIs (40) and third in runs scored (39) and stolen bases (17). During his senior year at Saratoga Springs High School, Weiss helped win the first-ever Class AAA state championship in program history. He hit .398 and totaled 33 hits that season, and the team was even honored at Yankee Stadium that summer for its victory.

The Niagara Falls Americans will kick of their 3rd season at Sal Maglie Stadium.  To ensure the safety of our fans, players and associates, the following security measures are in place for all events at the ballpark. Sal Maglie has a clear bag policy. Clear bags are only allowed to enter through the front gates. Clear bags are subject to inspection at the front gates upon entrance.
